Agate Street, 400 block.
Two Latter Day Saints—
young men in white shirts, dark ties
and name tags
stand in the middle of the road
in quiet conversation with
what appear to be a pair of
Jehovah’s Witnesses, neatly dressed
with books and pamphlets
in hand.
All four look engaged, yet relaxed;
not smiling, per se, but agreeable.
I wish I could hear what they’re saying.
